Gas Suppliers Licence

Licence Details:

A person who supplies LP Gas in a quantity exceeding 10 kilograms must have a 'gas suppliers licence'.  A supplier of gas is a person who receives LP Gas for distribution or resale in the course of trade or commerce. [Source: Regulation 62 of the Dangerous Goods (General) Regulations 1998)]

Eligibility:

For a person to apply and hold a 'gas suppliers licence' they are also required to hold a 'keepers licence'. That is, a licence issued by Workplace Standards Tasmania to a licensee to keep or store dangerous goods at a particular depot/site location.  An application kit is available that comprises the following:
