Licence information
  • Retailers of Type 2 or 3 fireworks
    must have a licence to sell fireworks. They must only sell Type 2 or 3 fireworks to persons who hold a fireworks permit.
  • Type 1 fireworks is unrestricted
  • purchase and use of fireworks  
Licence to sell:

Persons wishing to sell fireworks will require a licence from Workplace Standards Tasmania.

This licence is mandated under the Dangerous Goods Act 1998.
