Disposal of flares

Out of date pyrotechnics (flares) can be delivered to any Workplace Standards Tasmania office for safe disposal. Offices are located at:

• 30 Gordons Hill Road, Rosny Park
• 3rd Floor Henty House, 1 Civic Square Launceston
• 2nd Floor Reece House, 46 Mount Street Burnie.

This does not include explosives such as fireworks, ammunition, detonators, gelignite, safety fuses or detonator cords.

These items are handled by the Tasmania Police; call 6230 2111.
