Applying for a Licence as an Asbestos Removalist

In order to obtain an asbestos removalist licence, a person must:

(a) Complete an application form (ARL01)

(b) Attach to the application form copies of all relevant documentation, e.g. Asbestos Removal courses successfully completed through

• Tafe Tasmania or the Tasmanian Skills Institute
• relevant work experience and work history
• confirmation of possession or availability of asbestos removal equipment

(c) Submit the completed application form and copies of documentation together with the application fee to your local Service Tasmania Shop

Note:

(i) The application fee is non-refundable.

(ii) As much relevant information as possible should be included in support of the application.

(iii) Original documentation must not be included with the application.
