WorkSafely online program

The WorkSafely online program is available to assist teachers to educate year 10 students about workplace health and safety issues prior to them entering a workplace.

The interactive education package will sit on the Department of Education's website and will provide teachers with

• up-to-date and accurate content in line with Tasmanian workplace health and safety legislation to help deliver the WorkSafely Vocational Applied Learning criterion
• general information about workplace health and safety
• industry specific modules
• teaching and learning resources and activities
• an assessment tool that provides documented evidence that students have engaged in, and completed the required modules

WorkSafely has been developed by the Department of Education, WorkCover Tasmania and Workplace Standards Tasmania.
