A list of manufacturers of miscellaneous products authorised by the Minister of the Department of Justice as deemed-to-satisfy the performance requirements of Clause GP1 of the Tasmanian Plumbing Code for use in plumbing installations in Tasmania.

    This document provides information about Plumbing and Drainage Products Authorisation and On-site Waste Water Management Systems Accreditation.
    • In relation to Plumbing and Drainage Products, it covers the two levels of authorisation (Watermark Certification Scheme and State Authorisation) as well as the authorisation process.
    • In relation to On-site Waste Water Management Systems (OSWWMS) it covers the accreditation process and information about the circumstances in which an OSWWMS needs to be accredited.

Notes:

Plumbing and drainage products must not be installed in a plumbing installation within Tasmania unless they have been Authorised under Part G1 of the Tasmanian Plumbing Code.

Authorised means a plumbing product is authorised for use in a plumbing installation in Tasmania if it has been authorised by the Minister or by the WaterMark Certification Scheme set up by the National Plumbing Regulators Forum (NPRF) under the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA).
