Gas-fitting notice

The Gas-fitting notice is a multi-purpose form developed in accordance with the Gas Act 2000 and Gas (Safety) Regulations 2002. A gas fitting notice must be completed for ALL Natural Gas, Prescribed Standard and Complex LP Gas Installations.

The Gas-fitting Notice is for a

1. Standard Gas Installation - Requiring a Certificate of Compliance; or
2. An Installation that is not a Standards Gas Installation (Installations marked by an asterix (*) on the Gas-fitting Notice) - Requiring an Application for Acceptance and Statement of Compliance.

Gas-fitting notice books are only available for purchase through the following Service Tasmania shops: Launceston, Scottsdale, Campbell Town, St Helens, Queenstown, Burnie, Devonport, Hobart, Rosny and Glenorchy.  If you are unable to visit one of these locations, please contact the Helpline (details below).
