• AS 3814 Industrial and Commercial Gas-fired Appliances

Please be advised that on 5th Sept 2005, Standards Australia released a new version of AS 3814. Type B gasfitters and gas appliance designers must now apply the new edition of AS 3814 for the acceptance by the Director of Gas Safety of designs, construction, modification, testing and commissioning of Type B gas appliances.

This standard sets out the safety principals relating to the design, installation and operation of industrial appliances that involve combustion of gas or oil, or other fuel in air suspension, or the generation of combustible vapours in such appliances.
