Australian Gas Association (AGA) Standards for Gas Appliances

Any gas appliance accepted by the Director of Gas Safety pursuant to Sec 77 of the Gas Act 2000 will be expected to be designed and constructed from components approved by the Australian Gas Association, [AGA] the approved external approving authority appointed by the Director.

Any gas installation constructed of gas appliances will be expected to be designed and constructed from components approved by the AGA.
