Electrical licensing requirements

If in the course of your business you sell in floor or under tile electrical heating systems or your work is associated with these heating systems, e.g. floor tiling, you need to be aware that the installation of electric heating systems is electrical work and therefore is required to be installed by a person holding the relevant electrical licence.

Electrical technicians and electrical contractors have been advised not to connect to supply any in floor or under tile electrical heating systems that have not been installed by a licenced person.
