- Payment of the pro-rata application fee in accordance with the schedule of fees. This will align your licence term with the dates as laid down by regulation.
- Mutual recognition of occupational licences
From February 2007, new arrangements have been put in place making it easier for licensed tradespeople, and authorities that issue licences, to know what licence a worker is entitled to when applying for a licence in another jurisdiction. Use link above for more information on mutual recognition.

NOTES:
- Completion of the required theoretical (off-the-job) training does not mean you are automatically granted a licence. Each application will be individually assessed against the criteria.
- This licence will not enable you to work as an electrical contractor (self-employed) or enter into a contract to perform electrical work, or to work as an (unrestricted) electrician. The licence is restricted to those who perform maintenance on existing equipment. New installation work or relocation of electrical wiring or equipment is not permitted.
- Please send photocopies of your supporting evidence, not your originals, as we will retain these on file.
