Electrical Contractor Licence

• Are issued to individuals or businesses
• Entitle the holder to enter into contracts for electrical work

Applicant(s) must be ‘fit and proper’ to be granted a licence.

Obligations of the business (Contractor)

A contractor must

• engage a nominated manager, who may be the owner of the business 
• have the required insurance coverage in accordance with the Occupational Licensing General Insurance Notice 2008
