Applications from Interstate Builders

Applicants citing interstate experience in order to gain their initial accreditation as a Builder in Tasmania may expect to receive Conditional Accreditation only.

This is as a result of concerns about differing legal frameworks and local government requirements in other States.

Conditional Accreditation will not normally affect the ability of builders to operate within Tasmania.

Conditional Accreditation may not be fully recognised when seeking registration in other States and Territories through Mutual Recognition of your Tasmanian Accreditation.
