As an insurer, health service provider, or other involved party you have a key role to play in the Tasmanian workers rehabilitation and compensation system.

Your involvement and role is crucial in helping to achieve key objectives of the legislation.

The objectives include

• prompt and effective management of workplace injuries to promote and assist return to work of injured workers as soon as possible
• fair and appropriate compensation to injured workers and their dependants
• assisting in securing the health, safety and welfare of workers
• providing a scheme which is fair and affordable and which is efficiently and effectively administered
