viii. Workers maximum lump sum for permanent impairment commencing 1 July 2010.

viii. Workers maximum entitlement to lump sum compensation for permanent multiple injuries or loss under Table of Maims for injuries suffered prior to 1 July 2001.

vii. Table of Maims replaced by Impairment Guidelines from 1 July 2001. Workers maximum entitlement to lump sum compensation for permanent impairment resulting from injuries suffered on or after 1 July 2001 set at 369 Units. 

vi. Workers maximum entitlement for weekly payments of compensation for injuries suffered on or after 16 August 1995 to 30 June 2001. The maximum entitlement to weekly payments of compensation was removed from 1 July 2001.

v. Workers maximum entitlement to lump sum compensation for permanent single injury or loss for injuries suffered prior to 1 July 2001.

iv. Workers maximum entitlement for weekly payments of compensation for injuries suffered prior to 16 August 1995.

iii. The Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Amendment Act 2000 established a minimum amount of weekly compensation at 70% of Basic Salary.

ii. From 1 January 1991 the Unit amount changed from being tied to the Metal Industries Award and became linked to increments in the full-time average weekly ordinary earnings for Tasmania. From this point on the Unit is defined as the "Basic Salary"

i. Indicative only for Unit amounts in respect of the Workers (Occupational Diseases) Relief Fund Act 1954. Until the 1992 rate, separate statutory rules had to be prepared under each Act and these did not necessarily coincide.
